The Tech Tour 2018 Digital Health and Medtech Award

On 26th June we had the great pleasure to hand our 2018 Healthtech Awards to Tech Tour past alumni, who turned into success stories. The Tech Tour 2018 Digital Health Award went to Dan Vahdat, Medopad and the Tech Tour 2018 Medtech Award went to Timo Hercegfi, invendo medical GmbH.

We are delighted to be chosen as the winner of the Tech Tour 2018 Digital Health Award but we remain humble and continue to channel all our efforts in making our vision a reality – to create a world where people can live longer, a world where people can continue to do their greatest work and a world where people can continue to love their loved ones.
Dan Vahdat, CEO of Medopad

It’s really a huge honour to receive this award as appreciation for the hard work that eventually led to our sale to Ambu last year. invendo did not have a clean story to offer. We’ve gone through ups and downs during our history and have encountered many “near-death” experiences. But in the end it was persistence and determination that paid off. We’ve been around far longer than many other startups and I’m also grateful that we have seen so much support from our VC backers who have learnt a very valuable lesson that showing patience pays off. Great people can make it happen – and we have a lot of them.
Timo Hercegfi, CEO of  invendo medical
