Overview
The 2018 edition of the Benelux Venture Forum (BVF) will take place:
on 13-14 November in Maastricht, the Netherlands
Through the 18th edition of the Benelux Venture Forum, Tech Tour and Brightlands will continue to foster and promote technology entrepreneurship and investment in the Benelux region and wider Europe.
The Event
As shown by the latest European Digital Forum report, in 2016 the Netherlands’ startup business climate was ranked first in Europe. An emergent European Silicon Valley, the Netherlands’ tech startup scene has seen huge developments in clean tech, healthcare tech, and 3D printing in recent years. For the second year in a row, the BVF will take place in the Netherlands, at the Brighlands campuses in Heerlen, Maastricht and Geleen.
The BVF will showcase 40 to 50 companies active in:
- Material & Manufacturing
- Healthcare
- Food & Nutrition
- Smart Services
70 international and regional investors will take part to the BVF and select the top quartile companies that will be granted access to the exclusive presentation session of the European Venture Contest Final in December in Dusseldorf.
The networking among entrepreneurs and investors will be facilitated by an interactive programme rich of social activities, including an exclusive dinner and site visit, a CEO Collaborative Academy and a panel discussion session.
