PhotonHub Europe is a Pan-European photonics digital innovation hub to help SMEs and mid-caps to become highly competitive digital businesses through faster and smarter deployment of photonics-based technologies. It will create over 1.000 new high-tech EU jobs and nearly €1 billion in new revenues and venture capital by 2025.

PhotonHub Europe Scaling Club is an initiative developed by Tech Tour, Europe’s largest tech investment community and PhotonHub Europe - a unique European full-service one-stop-shop digital innovation hub for photonics, as part of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation in Public Private Partnership with Photonics21.

The European Technology Platform Photonics21 unites the majority of the leading photonics industries and relevant R&D stakeholders along the whole economic value chain throughout Europe. Today Photonics21 has more than 2500 members. Photonics21 aims to establish Europe as a leader in the development and deployment of photonics technologies wihtin the various applications fields such as ICT, lighting, industrial manufacturing, life science, safety as well as in education and training.The ETP Photonics21 coordinates photonics research and innovation priorities and provides input to the European research framework programme Horizon 2020.
